On a beautiful sunny day in June, Ashlynn and Jensen said I do in a beautiful Tacoma Waterfront Wedding!
When I arrived at the Waterfront Venue in Tacoma,
I walked up amazed at how perfect the day had turned out to be for this Tacoma Waterfront Wedding! When I left my home, the sky was grey and it was just starting to sprinkle. I was so happy that the weather started to clear in my half-hour drive! When I walked into the building, I was greeted by high ceilings, an insane amount of light, and a touch of rustic wood to give the whole space a nice glow.
I then met Ashlynn who gave me a quick tour of the space before she headed to hair and make-up. She was honestly one of the most beautiful brides inside and out. After getting all dolled up, her mom helped her get dressed. She then had an emotional first look with her father. Not a dry eye in the house!
Then came the first look with the groom!
They chose to have it on the patio of the venue. What we didn’t realize is that the brewery would open up and the patio would have quite the audience! I can truly say I’ve never seen the first look with such an audience. We decided to move inside to the groom’s loft for the exchange of their personal vows.
From there we decided to take all the bridal party and family photos in the reception space. It’s amazing how quickly these photos can be taken when everyone is where they need to be! That is probably my biggest tip for anyone planning a wedding timeline. Make sure everyone knows where and when they need to be!
Here it is. Ceremony time!
Since these two decided to exchange personal vows, the ceremony was only about 10 minutes long and included 2 Disney and 1 Michael Scott quote. Literally the perfect ceremony.
The newlyweds and I headed outside for some sunshine-filled photos! The rest of the evening was filled with delicious food, dancing, laughter and tears. All in all a beautiful day that I will remember for a long time!
