On a hot sunny day in July, Y + R said I DO at this Meadowbrook Farm Wedding in North Bend!
I was insanely honored to capture such an intimate wedding for these two love birds. Sometimes weddings are full of hired vendors(Caterer, planner, florist, photographer etc.), but this wedding was completely planned and executed by the bride. She also has a close friend who is a florist back east that offered to take care of the florals, and the food (authentic Mexican food) was provided by the bride’s family. The officiant was the groom’s sister who flew in from Finland!
Everyone involved in the wedding was either family or very close friends!
So to be one of the only hired vendors was such a privilege. I got to really know the bride’s sisters and cousins who helped the wedding day go smoothly. They were such warm, caring, loving people who welcomed me! And when the day started to get behind, I took off my photographer hat and put on my coordinator/assistant hat!
Oh yeah, if you didn’t know, I am also a Certified wedding and event planner for another company!
This is a whole other topic for conversation but let’s just say with being a wedding planner for Gian Events, photographer, and full-time mom my days get crazy. I am gone quite a bit on the weekends ESPECIALLY during wedding season so I try to really make the most of each day with my daughter.
So let’s get back to this wedding in North Bend!
We ended the evening with heartfelt speeches from the maid of honor and the best man.
They went on to their first dance and cake cutting. Then we got to take sunset photos while guest’s partied! Honestly, it was such a perfect day!
