I’m so excited to be able to offer mini sessions this spring! Keep reading for more details!
What are mini sessions/are they worth it?
Mini sessions are an amazing way to have a high-quality photoshoot without having to worry about a large budget or spending 1-2 hours shooting. I understand that we all have busy schedules and sometimes we can’t spend a whole afternoon with a photographer, as much as you may want to! So booking a mini session is a great way to get around that. I also understand that kids won’t always behave their best when plopped in front of a camera for too long. But 10-20 minutes and the promise of a sweet treat at home will probably ensure we’ll get at least a few good shots!
SIDE NOTE: All photos on this page have been taken during mini sessions!
Are mini sessions for me?
Mini sessions are perfect for families with little kids. As I mentioned above, a short time frame will be best for wrangling kids! Mini sessions are also amazing for engaged couples who have yet to settle on a photographer for their wedding day but want to be able to send Save the Dates out ASAP. Another great use for mini sessions are for photos with your pet! Have a new puppy or an older dog that you’d like documented? If we’re outside, bring them along!
How much do mini sessions cost?
Mini sessions are a great value, rather than paying for a full hour, you are paying for 15 minutes at a fraction of the cost! For a 1 hour session, you are looking at around $500 plus travel fees necessary. Mini sessions are 15 minutes for 300. 100 is due upfront and the remainder due 2 days before the mini session.
How many photos do I get?
You will receive 5 fully edited digital images. I will send you a gallery of all the photos and you can select your 5 favorites! Also, you have the opportunity to purchase the full gallery for an additional cost. Or if you make a $100 purchase of prints, I will gift you the full gallery for download!
What should I wear to my session?
DRESS LIKE YOU! There’s nothing worse than looking back at photos that you paid good money for and realizing the people in photos look nothing like you. Dress comfortably, in similar tones(no need to be matchy-matchy), and avoid loud patterns or large logos. If you are concerned about wanting to look slimmer, wear darker clothes! Dress cozy if it’s going to be chilly.
